A leading insurance company is looking to hire a Sustainability Manager to lead the implementation of the company’s CSRD project. Working with the Head of Sustainability, the hire will project manage the CSRD reporting requirements and support projects to ensure compliance with CSRD.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the CSRD project to ensure timely delivery and compliance with the ESRS framework, and effectively implementing the project roadmap for the new regulatory reporting disclosures
- Analysing data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement and support the business in improved sustainability practices
- Preparing regular sustainability reports and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to build strong relationships and support regulatory reporting frameworks being a main point of contact
- Supporting in the delivery of the company’s Sustainability Strategy, emphasising their commitment to being a Responsible and Sustainable Insurer
Key requirements include:
- Experience in project management and conducting data analysis and interpretation of regulatory requirements
- Preferred Accounting qualification
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of CSRD
- Ideally some experience of interpreting and applying accounting and/or ESG Standards
- Relevant experience in financial reporting processes and data validation
- Knowledge and interest of sustainability concepts and ideally experience in leading and implementing sustainability regulatory reporting programmes
