HR Officer – Cavan
Onsite (1 day WFH a week after probation)
The Human Resources Officer will oversee a range of HR responsibilities, ensuring legal compliance and providing support to both employees and management. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional communication skills, a strong grasp of HR best practices, and the ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the HR inbox and respond to employee queries.
- Support managers and HR team in their daily activities.
- Arrange and attend welfare meetings.
- Assist in arranging appointments with Occ Health and organising transport.
- Handle payslip printing and distribution.
- Attend and note take in attendance, disciplinary, and grievance meetings.
- Answer internal and external phone calls.
- Send letters, invites, and outcomes for various HR processes.
- Attend employee forums and health and safety meetings if required.
- Process reference requests and complete employee mortgage, paternity/maternity, and illness benefit forms.
- Ensure all compliance training is up-to-date and aligned with current legislation.
- Process invoices for training, transport, and medical appointments.
- Support employees with transfer requests to different departments.
Requirements:
- Hold a CIPD Level 3 qualification or be willing to work towards it within the first year.
- Proven experience as an HR Officer or HR Administrator.
- Strong understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
