Travel and Accommodation Co-Ordinator

Description

Our client, a dedicated data centre delivery partner providing turnkey solutions to their clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe, are looking for a travel and accommodation co-ordinator to join their team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the travel and accommodation requests of employees and executives in a timely manner according to project schedules
  • Assist with arranging appropriate modes of travel such as flights and rental cars, as well as making hotel reservations, coordinating with landlords/estate agents, and preparing itineraries
  • Liaise with various travel agencies and companies for bookings and cancellations
  • Log and maintain all travel records, spreadsheets, and calendars.
  • Log and check all travel agency invoices on a weekly basis.
  • Prepare high quality monthly travel reports for the payroll team.

Requirements

  • Good command of English, both written and spoken
  • Previous experience working as a travel co-ordinator, or similar role, required
  • Ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously booking flights, hotels, rental cars, and long-term apartments
  • Self-motivated, assertive individual, problem solver and teamwork oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and business acumen
  • Extremely proficient in MS Office applications
  • Knowledge of bulk booking software and technologies like IATA, Amadeus, Galileo preferred
  • Awareness about international travel regulations, customs, and currencies
  • Degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business or relevant field desired
