Temporary Human Resources Assistant – Grade IV

County Waterford

Our client with a huge community focus are currently seeking a Temporary HR Assistant to join their team in Waterford. This organisation is a Section 38 organisation and as such are fully funded by the HSE.

The position is 09:30-5pm Monday to Friday onsite.

Duties:

  • Co-ordinate and undertake all the administration and recruitment activity across the relevant service areas in accordance with the R&S Policy and Procedure and good HR practice.
  • Process vacancies from Request to hire, draft adverts, job descriptions and person specifications for Services Managers/Team Leaders.
  • Arrange interview boards, send out and monitor garda vetting, references, medical.
  • Issue Contracts of Employment to successful candidates and notify unsuccessful candidates.
  • Follow up on all HR paperwork e.g. induction checklists and probation checklists for all employees for allocated Service Area.
  • Assist as a member of interview boards when required.
  • Set up new employees and ceased employees on HR information system
  • To conduct garda vetting and revetting.
  • Photocopy files for third party, GDPR as required.

Requirements:

All requirements listed below are essential.

  • Leaving Certificate – Candidates should have obtained at least Grade C in higher level in 3 subjects
  • 3rd level qualification in Human Resources
  • Have a minimum of 2 years recruitment experience
  • Strong HR administration in Recruitment &Selection.
  • Full Clean Driving Licence (which permits the holder to drive in Ireland) is essential for the position.
  • Car Owner / Use of Car
