Our client has an opportunity for a Part-Qualified Accountant / Accounting Technician to join their finance team at their head office in Dublin. What You’ll Do
As part of the finance team, you’ll work closely with the divisional Finance Manager to:
- Prepare Month-End Accounts: Assist with reconciliations (stock, bank, intercompany) and create accruals and provisions.
- Maintain Financial Accuracy: Work with various teams to ensure accounts are accurate and reliable.
- Monitor Budgets: Track compliance with budgets and targets.
- Manage Payroll and Expenses: Oversee payroll processing and reporting, as well as expenses.
- Support Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for management.
- Assist with Audits: Compile schedules and evidence for auditors and other external bodies.
- Improve Processes: Identify and implement ways to streamline finance operations and save costs.
Is this you?
- Part Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) / Qualified Accounting Technician
- At least 3 years’ experience in a busy accounts department
- Previous experience of month end accounting experience – bank and balance sheet reconciliations essential.
- Strong Excel essential
- Experience in motor industry / manufacturing / retail sectors an advantage
