Learning and Development Partner – Permanent & Hybrid

Lincoln are pleased to be working with a repeat charity client after recent success in a HR hire to now recruit a newly created Learning and Development Partner.  This is a broad L&D position, focusing on excellence in the delivery of operational  and strategic solutions, partnering largely with an internal client group as well as playing a role within the broader HR team.  

There is a competitive salary on offer plus pension, Life assurance, education support and hybrid working.

Duties:

  • Support the Head of HR in creating and delivering the L&D strategy in support of the organisation strategy. Develop service level agreements with internal stakeholders.
  • Develop successful, long term, strategic relationships with our stakeholders and internal customers to achieve best practice learning solutions.
  • Attend appropriate regional, national, service level Meetings to provide L&D updates when required.
  • To provide ongoing work assisting with organisational development and any associated change actions.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on learning initiatives, policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Research, develop and roll out a Supervision model to support functions and services.
  • Conduct training needs analyses, analyse the findings and develop learning plans for staff  and managers across the charity.
  • Facilitate the running of various training /learning programmes where required across the charity.
  • Lead the roll-out of Personal Developing Plans for management and staff, in order to strengthen a culture of personal responsibility towards continuous professional development.
  • Support the development of a coaching strategy in order to enhance managerial capability and people development best practice to include a coaching culture.
  • Involved in developing, implementing, administrating, coordination and/or evaluating HR/L&D policies and procedures. Ensure all are compliant with regulatory requirement.

Requirements:

  • A third level qualification or equivalent in a relevant field e.g. HR, L&D. CIPD qualification preferred
  • +5 years L&D experience, ideally in a dynamic multi-site services environment
  • Good working knowledge of employment legislation in Ireland is essential
  • Experience of working in the charity sector is advantageous
  • Experience in a similar role is essential
  • Ability to act as an adviser to Senior Managers on all aspects of learning and development
  • Experience in developing and rolling out learning plans and leading change management programmes
  • Advanced knowledge of L&D best practice and procedures
  • Successful track record of enhancing business performance and change through effective people strategies
