Electrical/Mechanical Technician (Healthcare Services Industry)
We’re hiring Electro Mechanical Technician/Maintenance Engineer to join our client who’s a rapidly growing global healthcare services company is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their team. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on automated equipment such as storage/retrieval systems, labelling equipment, conveyors, and HVAC systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment, including PLC-controlled systems and pneumatic controls.
- Coordinate maintenance activities, schedule repairs, and update maintenance management systems.
- Support the production team in meeting performance targets, monitor equipment efficiency, and address performance issues promptly.
- Collaborate with equipment suppliers for installation, modification, and repairs of new systems.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and participate in regular safety audits.
- Assist with new equipment commissioning and work closely with the validation team.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and ensure all tasks adhere to quality standards.
Requirements:
- Experience in maintaining automated equipment and systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, especially with PLC programs.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices in a plant environment.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in resolving faults.
- Excellent communication and record-keeping skills.
