Intermediate Project Quantity Surveyor
Location: Mullingar, Ireland
We are seeking experienced and motivated Intermediate Project Quantity Surveyors to join our client who is a well-established consultancy specializing in providing professional quantity surveying services to a diverse range of clients. Their projects span multiple sectors, and they pride themselves on their collaborative and client-focused approach.
You will work on a variety of projects, supporting senior team members while also managing specific aspects of projects independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of initial budgets, cost plans, and estimates.
- Support in the commercial management of projects to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Prepare bills of quantities and schedules of rates.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the senior team in managing multiple projects, ensuring adherence to contract requirements.
- Contribute to project meetings, providing updates and reports as required.
- Gain hands-on experience with computerized bill production systems (training provided if required).
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2-5 years of professional experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
- Familiarity with current forms of building contracts.
- Knowledge or experience in computerized bill production systems is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to multitask.
- Proactive and detail-oriented, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
