My client is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will be someone with a trade background. They will be responsible for preforming proactive and reactive maintenance on production machines.  

• Mechanical Trouble shooting 
• Electro-Mechanical repairs 
• Provide Technical Support 
• Support Production team in achieving targets 
• Closely monitor line and machine performance 
  Intervene online as soon as any deterioration in performance occurs 
• Work with equipment suppliers on new equipment and installations and modifications 
• To keep clean any areas in which you are working 
• Co-operate and participate fully in training and development in cross skilling and other job-related competencies 
• Update our workmate system 
• Troubleshooting using PLC programs 
• Ensure KPI’s are met 
• Completion rate of Planned Preventative Maintenance Schedule 
• Minimal breakdown recovery time 
• Optimize Overall Equipment Effectiveness 
   

Requirements:

• Trade Qualification is essential 
• Mechanical background essential 
• Aptitude for process awareness 
• Diagnostic and/or trouble shooting experience preferred 
• Computer skills 
• Able to work on own initiative 
• Good team player 
• FMCG experience beneficial 
• Job Types: Full-time, Part-time 

Experience:

Maintenance/Electrical: 1 year (preferred) 
Work Location: In person
