Fire Safety Engineer

Health & Safety Officer
Location: Dublin Airport Airside Project

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and carry out Audits.
  • Coordinate and deliver EHS-related training, inductions, and staff upskilling.
  • Update site inductions regularly to reflect evolving site conditions.
  • Maintain and update Environmental Health & Safety plans and risk assessments.
  • Support the management of ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 accredited systems.
  • Attend daily site meetings and address safety-related concerns as required.
  • Conduct accident investigations and produce incident reports (near misses, first aid cases, etc.).
  • Support the maintenance and development of Environmental, Health & Safety management systems.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the company regarding EHS matters.
  • Represent the company in dealings with regulatory bodies.
  • Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification.
  • Hold toolbox talks to communicate EHS requirements and learnings.
  • Audit, control, and manage subcontractor H&S documentation and insurance policies.

Requirements:

  • 3rd level qualification in Health & Safety or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction or engineering industry.
  • Strong ability to work on own initiative and innovate when required.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Full driving license preferred.
