What You’ll Be Doing

As the Finance Manager you’ll be at the heart of the business operations, working closely with senior stakeholders and multiple business units to ensure financial excellence and strategic alignment. Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:

  • Leading a finance team to deliver accurate accounts, P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports for the business
  • Driving FP&A processes, preparing insightful monthly management accounts, and analysing performance.
  • Collaborating with business leaders on performance reviews and KPIs, helping shape their decisions with your financial expertise.
  • Managing working capital, cash flow forecasting, and VAT returns to ensure smooth operations.
  • Providing detailed financial analysis and ROI insights to back critical investment decisions.
  • Developing budgets and forecasts that align with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Championing cost-saving initiatives and driving performance improvements using data and lean principles.
  • Overseeing intercompany reconciliations and delivering actionable insights that promote growth.

What You’ll Bring

To excel in this role, you’ll need to bring a mix of expertise, leadership, and a proactive mindset:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong experience in a strategic finance role, with a proven track record in business partnering and financial analysis.
  • Prior experience in retail, logistics or FMCG sector required
  • A commercial mindset with advanced analytical abilities, especially in multi-brand or multi-channel settings.
  • A collaborative, adaptable approach and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
