Position: Foreman / Site Manager
Location: Ashbourne, Co. Meath
Project: Apartment Development (with further pipeline projects)
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Foreman or Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a new apartment development in Ashbourne, Co. Meath. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company with a strong pipeline of residential and mixed-use projects across Leinster. You will be responsible for managing site operations from construction through to handover, supported by a collaborative and experienced senior team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the site and take full responsibility for project delivery.
- Lead and manage the on-site team, both direct and subcontracted labour.
- Ensure the project stays on schedule, within budget, and complies with safety regulations.
- Coordinate site operations, logistics, and delivery of materials.
- Interpret technical drawings and communicate work plans to site teams.
- Liaise regularly with the senior management team, providing progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with all planning, health & safety, and environmental requirements.
- Maintain clear and accurate site records and logs.
Requirements
- Proven experience working on apartment or residential development projects.
- Background as a skilled tradesperson with progression into foreman/site management roles.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, building regulations, and site logistics.
- Experience managing subcontractors and site staff effectively.
- Proficient IT and documentation skills.
- Hands-on, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Health & Safety knowledge and prior experience implementing safety procedures.
Desirable / Bonus Skills
- Carpentry or groundworks background.
- Mechanically minded – comfortable operating site machinery (e.g. excavators, teleporters).
- Familiar with BCAR compliance and documentation processes.
- Strong concrete and structural works experience.
