Role Overview:
As a Site Manager, you will oversee daily operations on-site, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will coordinate with various stakeholders, manage subcontractors, and uphold health and safety regulations, contributing to the successful completion of prestigious projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily site operations, monitoring progress and ensuring project timelines are met.
- Inspect ongoing and completed work to ensure compliance with project specifications and building regulations.
- Maintain quality standards throughout the construction process.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors and on-site labor.
- Liaise with architects, engineers, surveyors, and planners to address project requirements.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, handling incidents proactively.
- Manage procurement of materials, supplies, tools, and equipment efficiently.
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs and progress reports.
- Monitor and track project variations in collaboration with the Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager
Requirements:
- Third-level qualification in construction or a related trade background with relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of solid site experience within the construction and building industry, preferably with a main contractor.
- Proven track record of managing medium to large-scale projects across various sectors, including industrial, health, pharma, commercial, and education.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to strict deadlines.
- Exceptional client-facing and communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of building practices and regulations.
