We’re looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join one of our clients who is a global leader in engineering solutions. They operate across telecoms, industrial, construction, and events sectors, delivering critical infrastructure projects in Ireland and internationally. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting for multiple projects.
- Manage contract negotiations, procurement, and subcontractor agreements.
- Prepare and submit valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure cost efficiency throughout project lifecycles.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align financial and operational objectives.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
- Mentor and support junior QS team members.
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 to 8+ years of experience in a Quantity Surveying role, preferably in telecoms, industrial, or construction sectors.
- Strong knowledge of contracts (FIDIC, NEC, JCT, etc.) and procurement processes.
- Proven experience in cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, estimating software, and financial modeling tools.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
