Senior General Operative

My client, a leading meat supplier based in Galway, is seeking to hire a Line Leader to join their team in Galway. The successful candidate will be responsible for a team of 15+ people and will have direct responsibility for achieving performance metrics and strict compliance with food safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Leading and helping other team members in the production department.
• Meet production targets.
• Will be required to work across all areas of the meat processing plant.
• Performing daily visual inspections, Quality checks as defined by departmental procedures and instructions.
• Adhering to food safety standards
• Compiling documentation.
• Making sure machines are working and organising tasks like making, packing, and sorting products.
• Solving any problems or disagreements in the team.
• Checking how well team members are doing their jobs.
• Watching over daily work to make sure everything gets done on time.
• Checking that everyone follows safety rules.

Requirements:

• People management experience
• Food production experience.

Other Details:

• Standard working week up to 40 hours
• Competitive and progression of rates
• Training in English language skills and company operating procedures will be provided.
• Day shift 7:30 am- 17:00 pm
