The Building Services Engineer position plays a crucial role in the management and implementation of Building Services.
As a Building Services Engineer, you will play a pivotal role within our project delivery team.
Working closely with project managers and subcontractors, you will oversee all electrical/mechanical activities, manage resources efficiently, and uphold our uncompromising standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage & coordinate all phases of the MEP Services project delivery cycle
- Coordinate Design team information & details in time for project delivery activities
- Ensure implementation of the MEPL Services IPEP Management plan
- Liaise with Mechanical, Electrical, Sprinkler, Lifts & Technical Specialists Sub-Contractors
- Ensure all MEP works are carried out to the highest level of Safety
- Inspect all installation works against the agreed level of approved Quality plan
- Monitor Programmes & review installation progress
- Ensure design compliance & commissioning achievement with all documents collated and O & M Manual’s development
Specific Requirements
- Mechanical/Electrical Third level qualification
- 5 years’ experience in building services co-ordination
- Previous Main Contractor experience is preferred, ideally project experience
- Excellent IT skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
