Senior Building Services Engineer (Mechanical)

The Building Services Engineer position plays a crucial role in the management and implementation of Building Services.

As a Building Services Engineer, you will play a pivotal role within our project delivery team. 

Working closely with project managers and subcontractors, you will oversee all electrical/mechanical activities, manage resources efficiently, and uphold our uncompromising standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage & coordinate all phases of the MEP Services project delivery cycle 
  • Coordinate Design team information & details in time for project delivery activities
  • Ensure implementation of the MEPL Services IPEP Management plan
  • Liaise with Mechanical, Electrical, Sprinkler, Lifts & Technical Specialists Sub-Contractors
  • Ensure all MEP works are carried out to the highest level of Safety
  • Inspect all installation works against the agreed level of approved Quality plan
  • Monitor Programmes & review installation progress
  • Ensure design compliance & commissioning achievement with all documents collated and O & M Manual’s development

Specific Requirements

  • Mechanical/Electrical Third level qualification
  • 5 years’ experience in building services co-ordination
  • Previous Main Contractor experience is preferred, ideally project experience
  • Excellent IT skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
  • Strong client focus
