Senior analyst, FP&A

£70k – 110k per year + Bonus + Benefits

The FP&A Senior Analyst will be responsible for updating budgets, forecasts and actuals, developing analyses, and tracking performance indicators on behalf of the Leasing. This role will support the Senior Manager, FP&A to inform decision making of the Leasing senior management team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and submission of consolidated budgets/forecasts for Leasing and related services
  • Prepare and maintain driver-based financial and operating models to support decision-making and short/long-term planning
  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators, including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, capital expenditures
  • Identify meaningful reporting discrepancies and determine variance drivers
  • Perform profitability analysis at the client, product, regional, and economic group level as requested
  • Support Senior Manager, FP&A in developing a detailed leasing forecast model
  • Other duties as assigned, including special projects

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.  Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting, and/or CPA designation (or working towards CPA) is preferred.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills. Minimum 5 years of finance and accounting knowledge and experience, forecasting and budgeting is preferrable.
  • Prior experience in Leasing and/or Banking a strong plus
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to details to ensure information presented should be free of errors/misstatements to ensure leadership can trust and act on insights provided.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, analyze complex issues, develop appropriate action plans, and deliver results in a timely manner.
  • Proficient use of financial systems and analysis tools, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Power-Point, Word). Knowledge of general ledger, corporate performance mgmt. systems and/or ERP systems. Exposure to OneStream a strong plus.
