Sales Representative

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join a well-established company in the retail sector. This role involves managing relationships with key retail partners, driving sales growth, and ensuring strong product availability within the assigned territory, covering areas from Wicklow to Wexford.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing retail partners to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s presence.

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned region.

  • Merchandise product ranges in-store, conduct stock counts, and ensure optimal product availability.

  • Present product offerings to customers, highlighting key features, benefits, and promotional opportunities.

  • Tailor sales approaches to maximize revenue based on individual store needs.

  • Support retail managers by troubleshooting any issues and maintaining a customer-first approach.

  • Plan and manage a weekly route to ensure all locations are well-stocked and supported.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.

  • Represent the brand at trade shows, events, and meetings when required.

  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to the management team.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a sales or field-based role, ideally in FMCG, retail, or a similar industry.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Comfortable using Excel/spreadsheets for reporting and analysis.

  • Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned area.
