The Company
Our client are a highly successful Irish company that have undergone significant growth in recent years. Due to this growth, they have a newly created role in their Head Office finance team for a Qualified Accountant who is seeking a commercially focused role in a business that is going from strength to strength.
The Role:
As Financial Accountant, your will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and optimization of our business unit data and systems. You will be responsible for developing dashboards, performing trend analysis, and evaluating agricultural performance metrics. Additionally, you will track and control key cost drivers, participate in cross-country projects, and support the “Lean” agenda of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with deliverables related to the business unit.
- Ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Develop financial dashboard and conduct trend analysis on a routine basis.
- Develop metrics to effectively evaluate KPI’s
- Optimize the performance of supporting business unit systems
- Track and control key cost drivers.
- Perform financial evaluation of various CapEx projects within the business unit.
- Manage and participate in cross functional projects
The Person:
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a complex industry e.g. manufacturing, FMCG
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop and interpret financial metrics.
