Property Inspector

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Property Inspector to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a substantial portfolio of properties for large-scale PRS clients around Dublin. As a Property Inspector, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of property maintenance and tenant satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Property Managers regarding upcoming inspections and access requirements.
  • Communicate with tenants and update inspection schedules promptly and professionally.
  • Perform thorough inspections of properties, ensuring compliance with minimum standards and fire safety regulations.
  • Document property condition and any safety hazards, excessive wear and tear, or damage.
  • Take photographs of landlord’s contents, fixtures, and fittings for documentation purposes.
  • Maintain detailed reports on inspections and action required by the Property Manager.
  • Adhere to company procedures and processes to ensure efficient workflow.

Requirements:

  • Experience in property inspection, maintenance coordination, property administration, or similar role within the industry.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license is mandatory.
  • Enthusiastic, motivated, and proactive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in written and oral English.
  • Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office applications including MS Word, Excel, and iPad applications.
  • Confidence in dealing with people both in-person and over the phone.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, and meticulous attention to detail.

Additional Information: This role requires a full driving license and would be an ideal opportunity for someone with experience in property management abroad or in property administration/maintenance roles. Full training will be provided, and our client have robust systems in place to support the role. The ability to manage your own diary is essential, as is the capability to liaise effectively with property managers and tenants.
