Project Quantity Surveyor

 

Our client is a leading construction firm in Ireland, delivering high-quality commercial and residential projects. They are looking for an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor with a solid background in design & build or main contracting. You will take full commercial ownership of one project at a time—ensuring cost control, subcontractor management, and accurate valuations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full cost management of assigned project
  • Prepare and manage valuations, interim and final accounts
  • Oversee procurement and manage subcontractor accounts
  • Produce cost reports and monitor budget performance
  • Handle payment applications and cash flow forecasts
  • Maintain strong communication with site teams and stakeholders
  • Ensure contractual compliance and cost efficiency throughout the project

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably with a contractor or design & build firm
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of construction contracts
  • Confident managing subcontractors and project financials
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own project
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
