Role Summary
As Production Supervisor, you will ensure efficient day-to-day operations, maintain quality standards, lead production teams, and support the delivery of high-quality products. You will supervise production activities and enforce compliance with safety and company standards
Key Responsibilities
Product Quality & Compliance

Oversee product checks and metal detection procedures.

Ensure accurate product recording using Ross.

Conduct and supervise spot checks for:

Accurate Best Before dates
-
Proper packing and tray loading
-
Quality and wrapping standards
-

Maintain Product Evaluation Records per shift.
-
Supervise bread weight, temperature, and quality checks.
-
Manage and troubleshoot metal detection systems.
-
Report faults to QA and document corrective actions.
Team Leadership & Supervision

Supervise and support production staff to meet targets.
-
Delegate tasks and provide coaching and guidance.
-
Set shift goals aligned with company objectives.
-
Promote high team morale and open communication.
Operational Oversight

Ensure timely packaging and dispatch of products.
-
Liaise with QA to address quality issues.
-
Enforce hygiene, safety, and organizational standards.
-
Manage schedules, resources, and workflow issues.
-
Communicate effectively with senior management and teams.
Performance & Compliance

Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
-
Address staff issues, including disciplinary actions, per policy.

Ensure legal, health, and safety compliance.
Additional Duties

Assist with washdowns, pallet/basket prep, and other duties as required by management.
Requirements

Experience in a supervisory or team lead role in a production/manufacturing environment preferred.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Fluent English and ability to work under pressure.
