Our client is a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer. We are seeking an experienced production manager to lead the current manufacturing team.
The role will suit someone with a high attention to detail and experience leading and improving high performance teams in a production setting.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop production standards. Identifying gaps for process improvement.
- Induction and training for new hires for the department on H&S and department specific standards.
- Ensure that production standards relating to quality and volume are met.
- Identify areas to upskill team members.
- Maintain timekeeping and attendance records on internal system.
- Ensure all health and safety records are kept up to date.
- Prepare weekly and monthly and quarterly production reports for senior management.
- Delegation of tasks between the team.
- Monitoring to ensure tasks are completed to the required standard.
- Carry out weekly and biweekly audits as required by the business to ensure that standards are being adhered to and identifying any gaps in process and procedures that could be improved.
- Time management skills are essential.

Essential Skills
- Strong attention to detail.
- Previous experience in leading a team.
- Background in pharmaceutical production is preferred.
- People management experience is a plus.
- 3+ years people management experience is a plus.
