Our client, a leading healthcare provider in Ireland, is seeking an experienced Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to join their expanding team in South Dublin. This role is ideal for a strategic professional with strong negotiation and contract management expertise, ideally from a complex healthcare or clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Operations

Develop and implement procurement policies for supplies, services, and equipment.

Work closely with the Director of Nursing and clinical leads to manage procurement needs.

Oversee the Supply Chain Team, ensuring continuity of supply and cost efficiency.

Ensure full compliance with hospital procurement and regulatory standards (JCI, etc.).

Implement best-in-class procurement strategies including category management.
Contract Management
-
Identify opportunities for non-pay expenditure contracts.

Oversee compliance with procurement processes and legal regulations.
-
Manage contract administration, promote equipment standardisation, and approve key agreements.
Leadership & People Management

Lead and support the Purchasing team in a collaborative and accountable environment.

Promote best practices, staff training, and good industrial relations.

Foster a positive team culture and high levels of communication and performance.
Quality & Compliance

Champion health and safety, ensuring all incidents are properly addressed.

Ensure full adherence to hospital policies, legislation, and professional standards.

Support regulatory inspections and reporting as required.
Requirements:

Level 7+ qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Finance.

5+ years post-qualification experience in a similar procurement role.

Proven track record in complex environments and contract negotiation.
