Payroll Administrator – 4 day week

West Dublin

On behalf of our client in Tallaght, we are recruiting for a payroll administrator on a 4 day week

Responsibilities will include:

–        Preparing monthly payroll information for processing by external payroll provider including calculations of:

  • Basic public holiday entitlements
  • Public holiday entitlements for part-time employees on fixed hour contracts
  • Public holiday entitlements for employees on variable hour contracts

–        Experience in handling pension deductions, cycle to work schemes, maternity benefit, salary sacrifice etc..

–        Validation of outputs from payroll provider

–        Payroll related balance sheet reconciliations

–        Development of payroll analysis reporting

–        Dealing with information requests from staff

–        Ad hoc accounting and administrative support duties as required


Experience / Requirements:


–        3 years plus practical experience

–        Excellent attention to detail

–        Good understanding of general payroll processing routines

–        Ability to manually calculate PAYR. PRSI and USC

–        Proficiency in use of Excel including VLOOKUP function

–        IT skills with a working knowledge of MS Office

–        Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload, and to meet deadlines

–        Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative

–        Strong relationship skills for collaboration with colleagues across the organisation


–        IPASS qualification

–        Exposure to Salesforce or similar CRM database
