Part-Qualified Accountant – Waterford area
The Company:
Our client is a growing company based in the Waterford area. They are a highly successful Irish SME, who have experienced significant growth in recent years.
They are expanding their team just now and as a result they are hiring a Part-Qualified Accountant.
This is a terrific role for someone who is working towards their professional qualifications and would like to join a company where there is scope to grow from Assistant Accountant to Financial Accountant and upwards.
The Position
- Assist in preparing financial and management accounts
- Manage the AP function
- Weekly payroll processing (under 50 staff)
- Accounts receivable and credit control
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Monitor and manage stock levels, working closely with operations to ensure accurate stock valuations and controls.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements at year-end
Skills and Experience Required:
- Part-Qualified Accountant who is actively working towards a relevant qualification (ACCA / ACA/ CPA / CIMA)
- Relevant experience in AP/AR/payroll and bank reconciliations
- Eager to learn and seeking a role where they can develop and progress
