Mechanical Workshop Operative – Kildare

Leading supplier to critically clean environments seeks a Mechanical Workshop Operative to support workshop operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mechanical Assembly: Assemble/fabricate components, use tools/machinery, ensure dimensional accuracy.
  • Maintenance & Repair: Routine maintenance, diagnose/repair faults, conduct tests.
  • Machine Operation: Operate mechanical equipment safely, ensure calibration/maintenance.
  • Health & Safety: Follow procedures, maintain safe environment, use PPE.
  • Inventory & Stock: Assist in parts/tools management, maintain records.
  • Quality Control: Perform checks, ensure standards.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Technical: Proficient with hand/power tools, workshop machinery (Lathes, Milling Machines, CNC Routers), mechanical principles.
  • Experience: Workshop experience advantageous; CNC, welding, specialized systems, CAD/CAM a plus.
  • Education: Apprenticeship/vocational qualification or relevant experience preferred.
  • Personal: Detail-oriented, accurate, good problem-solving, ability to meet deadlines, team-oriented, good communication.

Working Environment: Workshop/factory.
