We are on the lookout for a Manufacturing Manager to join our client’s Operations team on a permanent basis. They are one of the leading food and beverage manufacturers in Ireland and across the EU with proven track record of aggressive growth and expansion based on their excellent record of safety, quality and volume delivery
Responsibilities
- Oversee the safe, efficient, and effective execution of all manufacturing tasks within the department shift team.
- Mentor, guide, and develop a large, varied team to achieve outstanding outcomes in Safety, Quality, Service, and Cost metrics.
- Analyse available data to assess performance, assign corrective actions, and ensure these actions are followed up on regularly—daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and teams to achieve top-tier results for the company in terms of people, processes, and technology.
- Ensure all manufacturing activities adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- 6+years post qualification experience of working within a fast-moving consumer goods manufacturing environment leading a team
- Relevant Third level qualification or technical equivalent.
- Ability to operate effectively in a cross functional environment.
- Proven track record of delivery through teams in a dynamic, high paced work environment
- Demonstrate a proven track record of implementing cost, quality, safety and service improvement initiatives.
