My client, a leading food processor based in Dublin, is seeking to hire an experienced maintenance manager to join their team.
This role will suit someone with a strong mechanical background and experience leading and managing teams.
Responsibilities:

Supervision of the maintenance team

Budget management includes capex management, contractor expenditure, and part expenditure management.

Ensure that all equipment meets or exceeds manufacturers’ requirements

Lead the continuous improvement process within the maintenance team

Lead recruitment and development initiatives, ensuring succession planning

Compliance with all health and safety regulations is imperative
-
Leading training for all maintenance staff while promoting skill development
Requirements:

Demonstrated leadership ability with a minimum of 5 years leading and managing cross-functional teams

Knowledge of lean methodologies and application to the food industry
-
QQI level 6 award or equivalent in mechanical maintenance
