Maintenance Manager

My client, a leading food processor based in Dublin, is seeking to hire an experienced maintenance manager to join their team.   

This role will suit someone with a strong mechanical background and experience leading and managing teams.   

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Supervision of the maintenance team   

  • Budget management includes capex management, contractor expenditure, and part expenditure management.   

  • Ensure that all equipment meets or exceeds manufacturers’ requirements  

  • Lead the continuous improvement process within the maintenance team   

  • Lead recruitment and development initiatives, ensuring succession planning   

  • Compliance with all health and safety regulations is imperative   

  • Leading training for all maintenance staff while promoting skill development   

 

Requirements:  

  • Demonstrated leadership ability with a minimum of 5 years leading and managing cross-functional teams   

  • Knowledge of lean methodologies and application to the food industry   

  • QQI level 6 award or equivalent in mechanical maintenance
