The company is entering a strategic growth phase and requires an experienced leader to shape and direct delivery across multiple life science projects.
Role Overview
You will lead a division dedicated to delivering excellence in life science construction projects, overseeing multiple live sites, developing key client relationships, and supporting preconstruction and project delivery from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the successful delivery of 3 concurrent life science projects.
- Ensure all sites are accurately resourced, with subcontractors and internal teams aligned.
- Act as the face of the division – attending key meetings, presenting confidently, and engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with the Engineering Manager on timelines, project milestones, and workforce planning.
- Play a strategic role in business development and preconstruction activity.
- Lead and manage a growing team (currently 7 and expanding).
- Report directly to the Board of Directors, with monthly updates and fortnightly subcommittee meetings.
Candidate Profile
We’re seeking a confident, professional leader with a strong background in construction and a proven track record in the life science sector.
You will ideally have:
- 10+ years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 7–8 years in life sciences.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multi-site operations.
- Experience managing teams, subcontractors, and project delivery within regulated environments.
- The presence and communication skills to represent the division at senior level.
- A professional, dynamic, and well-organised approach with confidence to speak up in key meetings.
- A relevant qualification is beneficial but not essential for highly experienced candidates.
