Junior Project Manager / Site Manager

Our client is a growing construction and civil engineering company based in Ireland, delivering high-quality projects across the commercial, residential, and public infrastructure sectors. With a commitment to excellence, safety, and sustainability, they are now seeking a driven and ambitious Site Manager / Junior Project Manager to join their expanding team.

Role Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in project delivery from initial site setup through to completion. You will work closely with senior management and project teams to ensure that construction projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management of day-to-day site operations.
  • Support the Project Manager in the coordination of trades, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Monitor construction progress, quality, and compliance with health & safety regulations.
  • Attend site meetings and prepare reports, updates, and documentation.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of drawings, RFIs, site diaries, and material deliveries.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders under supervision.
  • Assist in procurement and logistics coordination for materials and site equipment.
  • Participate in setting out and quality assurance checks, where required.

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Fresh graduate or 1–2 years of relevant work experience (site or office-based).
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and construction management software (e.g. AutoCAD, Project, Procore, or similar).
  • Full driving licence

Desirable:

  • Experience on residential or commercial building sites.
  • Knowledge of Irish building regulations and construction standards.
  • Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates (can be obtained before start).
