IT Manager – Manufacturing Facility
A leading food production facility in Co. Longford is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead and support its on-site IT operations. This role offers a great opportunity to manage infrastructure, lead a small team, and drive digital improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Site Financial Controller, the IT Manager will oversee all IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring operational uptime and security while supporting production and business functions. You’ll work closely with Group IT and local teams to align systems with broader goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain secure, resilient IT infrastructure and production systems
- Lead and develop a small IT support team
- Provide timely resolution of critical IT issues, including out-of-hours support
- Manage vendors, SLAs, and IT budgets
- Drive IT projects (upgrades, integrations, new systems)
- Ensure cybersecurity and compliance with policies and standards
About You
- 2+ years in IT management, ideally in manufacturing
- Strong technical background in infrastructure, networking, and ERP/MES systems
- Effective communicator with hands-on troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Microsoft, Dell/Cisco networking, Azure, SQL Server, and project management tools
- Degree in IT or related field, or relevant certifications
