Health & Safety Officer

Part-Time Health and Safety Officer (20 hrs/week) – Dublin
Location: Dublin
Part-Time | 20 Hours/Week
Industry: Mechanical Engineering / Fitout

Our client is a growing, Irish-owned company delivering bespoke mechanical engineering services to the fitout industry. With a strong commitment to quality and safety, they’re now seeking a Health and Safety Officer to join their Dublin-based team on a part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote a strong health and safety culture across the business.

  • Conduct site inspections and recommend corrective actions.

  • Lead risk reviews and support incident investigations.

  • Schedule and oversee mandatory safety training.

  • Develop and distribute safety materials and lead safety campaigns.

  • Maintain accurate safety documentation and training records.

  • Ensure compliance with emergency and fire safety procedures.

  • Track and report on health and safety metrics and non-compliance issues.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Health and Safety Officer role.

  • Degree and recognised qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.

  • Solid knowledge of health and safety legislation and safety management systems.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Full, clean Irish driver’s license.

  • Background in engineering or construction is preferred.
