Our client is a growing, Irish-owned company delivering bespoke mechanical engineering services to the fitout industry. With a strong commitment to quality and safety, they’re now seeking a Health and Safety Officer to join their Dublin-based team on a part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:

Promote a strong health and safety culture across the business.

Conduct site inspections and recommend corrective actions.
-
Lead risk reviews and support incident investigations.
-
Schedule and oversee mandatory safety training.
-
Develop and distribute safety materials and lead safety campaigns.
-
Maintain accurate safety documentation and training records.
-
Ensure compliance with emergency and fire safety procedures.
-
Track and report on health and safety metrics and non-compliance issues.
Key Requirements:
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Health and Safety Officer role.
-
Degree and recognised qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
-
Solid knowledge of health and safety legislation and safety management systems.
-
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
-
Full, clean Irish driver’s license.
-
Background in engineering or construction is preferred.
