Group Financial Accountant – combination of month end and FP&A – Dublin

Salary 65k plus benefits

Hybrid working – 3 days in office, 2 work from home

The Company

Our client is an Irish Plc with operations across multiple international regions. They have undergone significant expansion in recent years through a combination of organic growth and acquisitions. They currently have an opportunity within their Head Office Finance Team for a recently Qualified Accountant eager to take their first post qualification move from practice (Big 4 / Top 10) to industry.

What experience will you gain?

As a Financial Accountant within the group finance function, your role will offer a blend of month end accounting duties plus exposure to FP&A

You will have the chance to develop practical month end experience in a busy, well structured finance function. Once the accounts are submitted each month, you will get involved in more commercially focused duties supporting the FP&A team.

This role is a terrific first move from practice industry. It offers a unique blend of duties that will complement your audit training and round out your skill set. This will position you really well to move forward in your career, and / or decide to specialise in a specific area e.g. FP&A

About you:

  • You will be a Qualified Accountant, ideally trained in a Big 4 / Top 10 practice. This will most likely be your first post qualification role outside practice.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work somewhere fast paced will be key to the role.
