Finance Business Partner Position

Overview:
A leading international firm is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join its finance team. This firm is renowned for its excellence and has been recognised as a top firm in Europe. With a long history, the firm continues to expand its global presence and innovate in serving its clients.

Role Summary:

The Finance Business Partner will support Business Services and Practice Groups by providing financial analysis, tools, and insights. The role involves real-time decision-making support, financial performance analysis, and participation in controllership activities. The position is integral to driving the firm’s financial success and ensuring optimal cash flow.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly management reports, including analysis and commentary on financial performance and trends.
  • Develop and review annual and semi-annual plans and forecasts, challenging financial assumptions and growth ambitions.
  • Collaborate with teams to enhance the understanding of operational and financial performance.
  • Present financial information at departmental and leadership meetings to inform business decisions.
  • Produce weekly operational reports on key financial metrics, highlighting areas for improvement.
  • Monitor and manage financial metrics, collaborating with partners to address any performance issues.
  • Implement and refine commercial procedures to enhance financial outcomes.

Skills and Experience:

  • A degree in finance or a related field, with a preference for ACA/ACCA qualifications.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a finance role within a professional services environment.
  • Experience with financial software, particularly those used in large organizations, is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and accounting skills.
  • High level of commercial and business awareness.
