European Commercial Manager
Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing travel insurance provider with a strong presence in Ireland, UK, and aim to become the #1 travel insurance provider in the market. This is a unique opportunity to join at an exciting phase of growth and product development. The role is fully remote, based in Ireland.
The client is looking for an experienced and commercially minded insurance professional to take ownership of their Irish market strategy and support their UK/European growth plans. You will work cross-functionally with teams in finance, marketing, and sales, making key recommendations to senior decision-makers while ensuring the company’s growth trajectory remains strong.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Drive Market Strategy & Commercial Growth in Ireland while supporting European expansion.
- Work closely with finance, marketing, and pricing teams to analyse market trends and recommend changes to senior leadership.
- Present Irish market performance updates, including sales and marketing strategies, to the board.
- Identify areas for improvement on the website and customer experience, working with internal teams to implement changes.
- Provide recommendations on product development to ensure competitiveness while maintaining profitability.
The ideal candidate:
- 3-4 years of experience in a commercial, product, or strategic role within travel insurance or general insurance.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in pricing, performance monitoring, and market research.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and working with senior stakeholders.
- A proactive, organised, and strategic thinker who can take ownership of projects and drive results.
- Strong presentation skills – comfortable reporting to the board and CEO.
