Environmental Administrator

We are excited to announce that, due to internal promotions, we are recruiting for an environmental administrator for a production facility in Longford. This role works in food production conditions, with chilled temperatures and raw meat and candidates must be comfortable with these conditions on an ongoing basis.

Our client is a food production company, that is currently implementing a 30% growth strategy, which means great opportunities for the right candidates!

We are looking for candidates with environmental administration experience. This role is in a food production facility and working on the production floor and materials yard is required, which includes production conditions dealing with meat and cool temperatures.

Key Responsibilities:

–        Develop and Generate Reports- Daily & Weekly KPI Report, Monthly WWTP Environmental Report

–        Monthly EMR completion to standards

–        Waste docket management & record keeping

–        Raising Environmental PO’s

–        Ordering of fuel (HFO, Tallow, Diesel)

–        Daily water meter monitoring & data keeping

–        Daily monitoring of site’s utilities (Water, Electricity & Waste) & flagging issues to the Env.Manager

–        Involvement in Environmental Projects in production as necessary

–        To support the Environmental Manager in all aspects of work


Key Skills:

–        Strong organisational skills

–        Communication: Clear written and verbal communication

–        Time Management: Prioritising and meeting deadline

–        Adaptability: Handling changing priorities and tasks

–        Multitasking: Juggling various responsibilities efficiently

–        Proficient in MS Office

–        A relevant Environmental Qualification is desirable.
