Overview:

They are currently seeking an Electrical Instrumentation Technician to join their team at their premises in Kinnegad on a permanent full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Electrical Instrumentation Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining analytical equipment
  • Performing preventive maintenance
  • Drafting electrical drawings
  • Providing shift cover for annual leave
  • Scoping project resources before execution
  • Inspecting equipment to ensure health and safety requirements are met
  • Commissioning electrical projects

Working Conditions:

  • The role may involve occasional physical exertion, exposure to the elements, or hazards inherent in the job
  • Ability to work with people from diverse cultures and network across the industry

What They Need from You:

  • Over 2 years of electrical maintenance or installation experience in a fixed-plant environment (preferably heavy engineering)
  • Knowledge of industrial instrumentation installation and maintenance
  • Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs is beneficial
  • Experience in motor control circuits is beneficial
  • Experience in HV motors and HV switchgear
  • Calibration of pressure, temperature, level, and analytical equipment
  • Experience in weighing instrumentation and calibration
