Compliance Advisor

A global Fund Management firm are recruiting for a Compliance Advisor for their Dublin office. The Compliance Advisor will act as a partner to the business and support the execution of the Company’s Risk Management and Compliance Frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of the Company’s Risk Management and Compliance Frameworks.
  • As a partner to the business, support the achievement key strategic objectives.
  • Provide compliance and risk management support and advice to the Company and the wider Group.
  • Assist the relevant persons responsible for carrying out services and activities to comply with the Company’s and the funds under management’s obligations to their stakeholders.
  • Advise and monitor regulatory reporting and compliance with relevant policies and procedures by the Company and its delegates and service providers.
  • Support the oversight and delivery of timely and accurate European regulatory reporting including EMIR, SFTR, MMFR and UCITS risk reporting.
  • Monitor regulatory change in respect of regulatory reporting and oversee the timely implementation of changes by the relevant personnel responsible for completion and filing.
  • Under the supervision of the Head of Compliance, Chief Risk Officer or Designated Person for Fund Risk Management as applicable ensure that correspondence and engagements with regulatory bodies is managed in a timely, accurate and appropriate manner.
  • Provide support on day-to-day matters relating to the Company’s compliance with relevant regulations and legislation in Europe primarily in Ireland and Luxembourg such as investment fund compliance, AML/CTF and FS compliance and the oversight of outsourced service providers.
  • Under the supervision and direction of the Head of Compliance, assist in the delivery of the Compliance Plan and Compliance Monitoring Programme.
  • Advise and monitor compliance with relevant policies and procedures by the Company and its delegates and service providers.
  • Assist in the development and provision of compliance training and know-how to colleagues and Board members.
  • Assist in the monitoring, assessment and implementation of local, European and international regulatory developments to ensure compliance, and regulatory risks, operational risks and any obligations are appropriately identified and addressed.
