Financial Accountant – Waterford

We are working with a company based in Waterford city who are hiring a Financial Accountant to join their team.
The business is well established, and the team in Waterford is close knit, with an open and collaborative culture.
The Role:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:
- Daily bank reconciliations, FX hedging, and cashflow tracking
- Oversight of AR/AP including sales & purchase invoicing
- Management reporting: weekly, monthly, and ad hoc analysis
- Supporting audits (interim & year-end) and revenue returns
- Expense reporting & credit note control
- Involvement in system/process improvements and IT liaison
- Cross-training with team and stepping in for the FC as needed
About You:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Relevant industry experience an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and an adaptable, hands-on approach
- Comfortable working across teams and systems – a natural problem solver
