We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join a large-scale residential development project based in North Dublin. Key Responsibilities:
- Check plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations
- Monitor and interpret contract design documents
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, planners, quantity surveyors, and on-site teams
- Perform setting out using a variety of instruments (e.g. Total Station, GPS)
- Supervise and monitor subcontractor work
- Report progress and highlight issues to the Package Manager
- Provide technical guidance and resolve technical difficulties on-site
- Oversee quality management and BCAR coordination
- Ensure adherence to planning, environmental, and health and safety standards
- Support weekly and monthly reporting for internal and external stakeholders
- Carry out other ad hoc duties as required
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Proven experience in a Senior Site Engineer role with a developer or main contractor
- Strong setting out experience using Total Station and GPS
- Full, clean manual driver’s licence
- Ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
