Role Overview:
As an External Wall Operative, you will be responsible for installing External Wall Insulation (EWI) systems on residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on, site-based role that requires experience with external rendering and insulation installation. Work will involve travel to various sites from the Kells base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install external wall insulation systems (EWI)
- Apply render systems in accordance with technical specifications
- Maintain site health and safety standards
- Drive company van or truck to various sites as required
- Work collaboratively with on-site teams
- Represent Cooper Insulation professionally on client sites
Essential Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in EWI installation or relevant trades (e.g. plastering)
- Strong English communication skills
- Trade-qualified OR demonstrably experienced in external rendering systems
- Willingness to travel daily to site locations (within 50km radius)
- Good understanding of on-site safety practices
Desirable:
- Supervisory experience (for higher-level roles)
- Experience working in similar roles in insulation or rendering companies
- Flexibility for travel and site-based work
