We are seeking an experienced Snagging Foreman to join the team on a large-scale housing and apartment development in South Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the snagging process, ensuring all residential units meet quality standards before handover to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the snagging activities across residential houses and apartment units on site.
- Conduct detailed inspections to identify defects, incomplete work, and finishing issues.
- Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure prompt rectification of snagging items.
- Maintain clear communication with project management and quality control teams regarding snagging progress and outstanding items.
- Ensure all snagging works comply with relevant building regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
- Produce accurate snagging reports and maintain documentation for follow-up actions.
- Work closely with site management to plan and prioritise snagging schedules to meet project timelines.
- Conduct regular site visits and progress checks to prevent delays in project completion.
- Ensure safety standards are maintained during snagging activities.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as a snagging foreman or similar role in residential construction (houses and apartments is desirable).
- Strong knowledge of building finishes, quality standards, and defect identification.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders including contractors, site teams, and project managers.
- Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Full clean driving licence desirable.
- Availability to work on-site in South Dublin.
