Our client, a well-established and fast-growing roofing and cladding contractor, is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee multiple live projects across the commercial, industrial, and public sectors. The ideal candidate will be a confident project leader with strong commercial acumen, technical understanding of roofing and cladding systems, and the ability to drive project success from mobilisation to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the delivery of multiple roofing and cladding contracts
- Oversee commercial performance: valuations, variations, cost forecasting, margin protection
- Act as the primary liaison with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
- Monitor programme delivery and drive risk mitigation to meet key project milestones
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality control, and contractual obligations
- Mentor and manage site teams to uphold performance standards and accountability
- Participate in regular progress reporting and stakeholder meetings
Requirements
- 6+ years’ experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager in roofing, cladding, or external envelope systems
- In-depth understanding of roofing/cladding build-ups, construction sequencing, and commercial controls
- Knowledge of RIAI, Public Works, or bespoke forms of contract
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a solutions-focused mindset
- Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors, programmes, and H&S compliance
- Full clean driving licence (essential)
