The Role
Our client are seeking a Construction Planner / Scheduler to join our growing operations team. This is a great opportunity to join a family run business who are thriving, with great opportunity for clear career progression. This newly restructured role plays a pivotal part in coordinating residential insulation projects across 15 service trucks daily. You will manage the scheduling of work post-quotation and ensure smooth delivery from confirmation through to completion.
This is a hands-on planning role requiring high levels of organisation, responsiveness, and customer communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule daily project activities across 15 service trucks
- Coordinate with sales reps, post-confirmation to arrange work execution
- Liaise with customers, operations, and drivers to manage logistics
- Monitor project timelines, reschedule as needed, and react to on-site changes
- Ensure compliance with insurance and health & safety protocols
- Conduct occasional site visits
- Input into operational performance but no direct line management
Experience & Skills:
- 3–5 years’ experience in planning/scheduling roles
- Background in customer-facing, service-based industries (e.g., utilities, construction, field services
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Able to react quickly and juggle changing priorities
- Comfortable liaising with multiple stakeholders
- Experience with logistics, resource planning, or scheduling software is an advantage
- Full clean driving license preferred
