Our client, a leading supplier to critically clean environments, is seeking an experienced 3D Print Technical Operative to join their team in Leixlip, Kildare.
Key Responsibilities

3D Printer Operation: Operate and monitor various 3D printers (FDM, SLA, SLS) for prototyping and production.

Setup & Calibration: Load materials, calibrate machines, and configure print settings for optimal output.

Print Monitoring: Supervise print jobs, troubleshoot errors (e.g., jams, misprints), and adjust parameters as needed.

Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and cleaning; support manufacturer service schedules.

Material Handling: Store and manage materials, control inventory, and coordinate supply orders.

Quality Control: Inspect finished parts, conduct post-processing (e.g., support removal, finishing).

Documentation: Keep accurate records of print jobs, maintenance logs, and production metrics.

Collaboration: Work with design and engineering teams to enhance designs for printability and efficiency.

Health & Safety: Adhere to safety protocols when operating equipment and handling materials.
Skills & Experience

Experience: Background in 3D printing, additive manufacturing, or related technical production.

Technical Knowledge: Skilled in machine operation and troubleshooting.

Software Proficiency: Experience with slicers (Cura, PrusaSlicer, Simplify3D) and CAD tools (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD).

Attention to Detail: Strong focus on precision and quality output.

Problem Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical and software-related printing issues.
