Role Overview:
As a Project Manager, you will play a critical leadership role overseeing high-profile projects from inception to handover. You will manage all aspects of project delivery, ensuring client requirements are met while maintaining strict control over quality, cost, and programme. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage projects from set-up to handover and post-project evaluation.
- Establish performance and delivery criteria, ensuring all client requirements are met.
- Ensure full compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Execute projects through the company’s Quality and Project Management system and processes.
- Maintain accurate project information within a structured filing system for easy access and historical tracking.
- Track and report on project progress at weekly client update meetings.
- Plan and manage resources, including labour, materials, and subcontractors.
- Lead and drive large project teams to meet all project objectives and deadlines.
- Collaborate with the Site Safety Officer to ensure the highest health and safety standards on-site.
- Liaise with clients on the development and implementation of project KPIs.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Engineering (additional qualifications are an advantage).
- 5+ years of proven experience in Project Management, ideally with a main contractor.
- Proficient in project planning software such as ASTA or MS Project.
- Demonstrated ability to take full responsibility for large-scale projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Strong leadership experience managing diverse teams and working collaboratively with senior management.
- Excellent communication skills with experience delivering medium to large-scale projects across Pharma, Industrial, Commercial, Education, Health, and Data Center sectors.
- Experience in delivering large hotel projects would be a distinct advantage.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex contractual documents.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Adaptable, flexible, and capable of thriving in a dynamic environment.
- Impeccable attention to detail and the ability to communicate technical topics effectively to all stakeholders.
