Construction Project Manager

Role Overview:

As a Project Manager, you will play a critical leadership role overseeing high-profile projects from inception to handover. You will manage all aspects of project delivery, ensuring client requirements are met while maintaining strict control over quality, cost, and programme. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage projects from set-up to handover and post-project evaluation.
• Establish performance and delivery criteria, ensuring all client requirements are met.
• Ensure full compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Execute projects through the company’s Quality and Project Management system and processes.
• Maintain accurate project information within a structured filing system for easy access and historical tracking.
• Track and report on project progress at weekly client update meetings.
• Plan and manage resources, including labour, materials, and subcontractors.
• Lead and drive large project teams to meet all project objectives and deadlines.
• Collaborate with the Site Safety Officer to ensure the highest health and safety standards on-site.
• Liaise with clients on the development and implementation of project KPIs.

Requirements:

• Degree qualified in Engineering (additional qualifications are an advantage).
• 5+ years of proven experience in Project Management, ideally with a main contractor.
• Proficient in project planning software such as ASTA or MS Project.
• Demonstrated ability to take full responsibility for large-scale projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Strong leadership experience managing diverse teams and working collaboratively with senior management.
• Excellent communication skills with experience delivering medium to large-scale projects across Pharma, Industrial, Commercial, Education, Health, and Data Center sectors.
• Experience in delivering large hotel projects would be a distinct advantage.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex contractual documents.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Adaptable, flexible, and capable of thriving in a dynamic environment.
• Impeccable attention to detail and the ability to communicate technical topics effectively to all stakeholders.
