Position: Shift Electrical Engineering Craft Technician

Salary: EUR 24.49 per hour (DOE) + 33.3% shift allowance

Our client, a leading food production company, is actively recruiting for multiple electrical engineering shift vacancies. With a strategic 30% growth plan in place, this presents excellent opportunities for qualified candidates.

The role involves a 4-cycle continental shift pattern, alternating between 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am shifts, ensuring a well-balanced work schedule.

Reporting to the Engineering Shift Supervisor, the Craft Technician – Electrical will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing plant operations to achieve World Class OEE and Maintenance Availability/Performance. Embracing our 4P’s Culture, you’ll play a pivotal role in our ‘Plan to Win’ strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production machinery and plant services, including PLC systems, electrical cabinets, and sensors.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to optimize quality and service delivery for both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications: We’re seeking candidates with:

  • Qualifications to Senior Trades level or equivalent European NFQ credentials
  • NCEA Cert./Diploma in Electro-Mechanical discipline or comparable accreditation
  • FETAC Level 6 Accreditation or equivalent, such as Solas apprenticeship or City & Guilds apprenticeship.
