They have an opportunity for a Qualified Management Accountant, initially on a 12 month contract basis, though there may be scope for extension / permanence in the role

The Position:

In this highly commercial role, you will report to the Commercial Finance Manager, taking ownership of the month-end accounts, P&L, and Balance Sheet for multiple cost centres.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and complete monthly performance reports, highlighting key trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.
  • Revenue & Margin Analysis: Provide detailed revenue and margin reports by product, business unit, and customer.
  • Reconciliation & Journals: Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts, prepare support schedules, and process monthly journals.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to automate and improve processes for greater efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with teams such as operations, sales, and marketing to track KPIs and provide actionable insights.
  • ERP Systems & Automation: Utilise and help develop ERP systems) to streamline processes and improve financial reporting accuracy.

Is This for You?

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or CPA) with experience in FMCG or logistics, bringing strong commercial acumen and analytical skills to the role.
