Salary 65 -75k

The Company:

Our client, an industry leading company, have gone from strength to strength via a combination of acquisition and organic growth in recent years.

They currently have an opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join their Finance Team on a perm basis.

Does this sound like you?

You are a Qualified Accountant with at least 2 years post qualification experience in industry. You really enjoy looking at the commercial aspects of the business and love using the numbers to contribute to business decisons. You have experience budgeting, forecasting, variance analaysis and preparing a monthly reporting pack as well as month end close

You’re at the stage of your career where you are ready to build on your skills. You’d love to work more closely with business unit managers and take on more of a finance parterning role in addition to the month end reporting duties you feel really competent in.You’d love to be able to use your business acument and step into a more commercially focused role where you know the information you are providing is helpig drive decision making.

You love Excel, and have advanced skills and the bility to build financial models.

In addition you enjoy internating with people and explaining numbers to non-financial people.

The Role 

This is a commercially focused role, with no two days the same where you will have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of tasks and projects including:

  • Deliver monthly P&L, Balance Sheets, and Performance Analytics.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Finance Manager on finance initiatives.
  • Monthly performance reporting
  • Communicate key business trends and insights.
  • Deliver in-depth analysis of revenue and margins across products, business units and customers.
  • Develop cross-functional relationships.
  • Prepare monthly performance reports and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
